Session Keys Grand Y

Session Keys Grand Y by e instruments brings the detailed sound of a Yamaha CFIIIS concert grand to Kontakt. Its transparent tone, bright upper register and weighty bass suit everything from exposed piano melodies to layered pop arrangements. Two separately recorded sample banks, Concert and Studio, offer contrasting perspectives captured with different lid positions and microphone techniques. For producers who want to move beyond acoustic realism, the Pentamorph control reshapes the piano into atmospheric textures or mechanical sounds with a single knob. The Animator supplies more than 400 adaptable piano phrases that follow your harmonies, with complexity and dynamics controlled through the pitch and modulation wheels. Smart Chord lets you trigger chords or Animator riffs from single keys or pads. It’s a versatile choice for hobby producers, songwriters and keyboard players looking for expressive piano tones alongside practical composition tools.
