Parallel Aggressor

Parallel Aggressor by Baby Audio combines parallel compression and saturation in one effect, adding punch, weight and grit without extra bus routing. It blends your dry audio with two processed layers: Spank, an adaptive compressor with an assertive character, and Heat, an analogue-modelled saturator that moves from warmth to aggressive bite. Use it to give drums more impact, thicken bass or bring extra energy to individual tracks while retaining some of the original signal’s character. Separate level controls let you balance all three paths, while style buttons offer additional punch, tonal shaping and filtering. Solo buttons help you hear each layer, and Auto Gain keeps the combined output roughly aligned with the dry level. It suits producers who want characterful processing and quick creative decisions rather than a session full of parallel buses.
