Cello Textures by Have Audio turns expressive cello recordings into dark cinematic soundscapes, unsettling effects and playable instruments for Kontakt. Performed by Parisian cellist Jean-Philippe Feiss, the source material ranges from acoustic detail to heavily transformed sounds shaped with modular synthesizers and analog effects pedals. Three instruments—Acoustic, Electronic and Dystopian—cover movement textures, granular one-shots, distorted horror sounds and playable patches such as Dystopian Pad and PowerCello. Built-in filtering, convolution reverbs, infinite delay and freeze reverb offer further ways to shape atmosphere and space. With 1,174 samples across six NKI files and over 3 GB of uncompressed content, this library suits film composers and producers seeking tense backgrounds, eerie transitions or unconventional cello-based parts. It requires the full version of Kontakt and does not work with the free Kontakt Player.
