Disco 6000

Soundiron Disco 6000 brings the character of the Solton Disco 64 into a sample-based instrument built for retro grooves and analog-flavored melodies. Drawing on the German synth and drum machine from 1978–1982, it combines sustained and staccato synth presets with percussion one-shots, rhythmic drum loops and 20 evolving atmospheric pads. Stereo microphone and direct recordings capture the original hardware’s warm, weighty tone. Shape your parts with attack and release controls, vibrato, octave layering and glide for flowing legato leads. A flexible LFO, 13 filter options and a customizable arpeggiator with velocity sequencing offer plenty of movement, while the DSP effects rack includes convolution reverb for added space. It’s a strong fit for hobby producers creating Italo disco, synth-pop, vintage dance tracks or atmospheric electronic music with a distinctly late-’70s and early-’80s feel.
