KLANG DRUMBOX: Krautrock Machine is a drum instrument inspired by vintage drum computers, sample-based rhythm production, and Germany’s electronic music heritage. Rooted in the musical connections between Cologne and Düsseldorf, it pays tribute to the rhythmic ideas associated with Krautrock and Kraftwerk rather than chasing contemporary drum trends.
Its retro electronic focus makes it a natural starting point for motorik-inspired grooves, understated electronic arrangements, and tracks that draw on early machine-driven music. Use it to explore rhythmic foundations where repetition, pulse, and a distinctly vintage aesthetic shape the direction of a song.
For hobby producers drawn to classic German electronic music, DRUMBOX offers a focused concept: bringing the spirit of pioneering rhythm machines into an instrument built around KLANG’s enthusiasm for drum computers and sample-based composition.
