TAPED: Swayed Keys for Ableton Live

TAPED: Swayed Keys for Ableton Live is a characterful electric piano instrument from KLANG, blending classic stage-piano tones with the warmth and instability of real tape hardware. Saturation, wow and flutter give the keys a gently worn texture, while a grainy, processed vibraphone layer adds a metallic edge. It’s a natural fit for lo-fi beats, mellow chord progressions and atmospheric arrangements that need something less polished than a clean electric piano. A balance control lets you blend in the textured layers and can be linked to your mod wheel for expressive changes as you play. Tremolo and tone controls handle movement and colour, with phaser, distortion, delay and reverb available for further shaping. Suited to Ableton producers who enjoy nostalgic keyboard sounds, Swayed Keys puts tape-flavoured warmth and imperfect textures at the centre of the performance.
