Model 72 Synthesizer System

Softube Model 72 Synthesizer System brings the character of an early ’70s monophonic analogue synth into a flexible software setup. Modelled component by component from a well-preserved 1972 instrument, it captures the subtle quirks and nonlinear behaviour that give vintage synthesis its warmth and personality. Use it for rounded bass lines, expressive leads and retro funk or electronic parts, with doubling and stereo spread adding a broader dimension to its classic sound. Beyond the main instrument, the system includes an FX version, an Amp Room module and seven modules for Softube Modular, opening up different ways to use its analogue character. It suits producers who want a focused vintage synth for melodic hooks and bass duties, as well as sound designers looking to explore those sounds within Softube’s modular environment.
