Markus 88

Markus 88 by Sampleson is an 88-note electric piano instrument that recreates the character of a vintage tine-based stage piano through spectral modelling. Built from analysis of real recordings, it generates its sound without sample playback, keeping the installation to just 25MB. Expect bell-like highs, darker bass notes and a smooth velocity response without abrupt layer changes. Adjustable velocity behaviour shapes how the harmonics react to your playing, while dedicated Bells and Releases controls help tailor the tone and note endings. Built-in preamp, reverb and phaser effects add colour and movement for mellow chords, expressive leads or rhythmic keyboard parts. It suits hobby producers and keyboard players looking for a compact electric piano for soul, jazz, pop or electronic tracks. Markus 88 runs as a plugin or standalone instrument, with no separate sample player or library installation required.
