Soundiron Iron Throne is a Kontakt instrument library built around unsettling metallic percussion and haunting, semi-melodic textures. Bowed metal sustains, glissandos, staccatos and tremolos sit alongside mallet strikes, scraped surfaces and resonant rubbing effects, offering everything from sharp impacts to slowly evolving tension. Version 2.0 expands the palette with ambiences, drones and atmospheric pads derived from the original recordings, plus 20 custom FX presets for quick inspiration. Shape performances with controls for attack, release, swell, vibrato, pitch and filtering, then explore articulation switching, crossfading and layering. An adaptable LFO and 12 filter options add further movement and tonal variation.
