CHOW Phaser

CHOW Phaser by ChowDSP is an open-source phaser effect loosely inspired by the classic Shulte Compact Phasing “A”. It brings sweeping movement and nonlinear character to synths, guitars, pads and other sounds that need extra animation. Separate feedback and modulation controls let you balance the two processing sections, while a shared LFO offers depth, frequency and skew adjustments. A 10x switch pushes the LFO into faster territory, and selectable modulation filter stages provide further tonal variation. Drive, dirt and thrash controls introduce different flavours of nonlinear processing in the feedback section. Choose the Mono version to turn a mono input into stereo motion, or use Stereo for independent left and right processing, with Shift-linked control adjustments. Available as VST, VST3, AU and standalone, it suits producers who enjoy hands-on modulation and experimental textures.
