Mechanics of Noise by Have Audio turns analog synth recordings into a gritty toolkit for cinematic sound design. Created with Swiss composer and sound designer Urs Bollhalder, this Kontakt sample library explores crackling transients, electrical surges, mechanical rhythms and unsettling noise textures. Its 515 samples span three instruments: Acoustic, Electronic and Dystopian, with separate NKI files and over 1.5 GB of uncompressed content. Combine noisy one-shots with tempo-synced loops to build tense underscore, industrial grooves or sudden bursts of sonic chaos. Built-in processing includes a high-pass filter, delay, convolution, a low-end drone impulse response effect and tube distortion for further shaping. It suits film composers and producers who want rough-edged analog character rather than polished synth tones. The full version of Kontakt is required; the free Kontakt Player is not supported.
