Le Snappet

Le Snappet by Boz Digital Labs is a finger snap instrument for building anything from a crisp solo accent to a loose, lively crowd. Recordings of multiple performers, velocity layers, and round-robin variations keep repeated snaps sounding natural rather than mechanical. Adjust the group size and use the Slop control to move between tight rhythmic hits and relaxed ensemble timing. Three microphone perspectives—close, mid, and room—let you shape the sense of distance, while built-in compression, four-band EQ, and width controls help fit the snaps into your mix. Play parts via MIDI or program grooves with the onboard step sequencer, then automate changes between 12 editable patterns. It suits producers adding organic percussion to beats, songwriters layering rhythmic accents, and sound designers creating convincing snap tracks for film and post-production.
