Elektronik 25

Soundiron Elektronik 25 brings the distinctive strings, organs and brass of the Soviet-era Elektronika EM-25 synthesizer into a playable sampled instrument. Captured through stereo microphones and a direct input, its sounds range from sustained tones and short staccatos to percussion one-shots and drum loops. More than forty evolving atmospheric pads expand the original recordings into textures suited to ambient tracks, cinematic arrangements and retro-inspired electronic music. Shape each part with attack, release, vibrato, octave layering and pitch glide, or add movement using the flexible LFO and customizable arpeggiator. Thirteen filter options and a DSP effects rack offer further sound design possibilities, while convolution reverb places the synth in realistic spaces or stranger environments. Elektronik 25 suits producers who want unusual vintage synth character with room to experiment beyond the original hardware.
