Reelight PRO

Tone Empire Reelight PRO is a tape emulation plugin that adds analogue colour, saturation and tape-style compression to digital recordings. Six tape machine models draw on designs from Ampex, Studer, Teac, AEG Telefunken and Revox, offering different flavours for drums, bass, synths and mix buses. Choose slow or fast tape speeds, then shape the response with bias, crosstalk and a dedicated compression control. Driving the input pushes the tape processing harder, while the gain lock compensates at the output to help you judge tonal changes without a distracting jump in volume. High-pass and low-pass filters shape the signal before it reaches the tape stage. Combining dynamic impulse responses with DSP modelling, Reelight PRO suits producers who want anything from subtle vintage character to more obvious tape saturation. Included presets provide a practical starting point for exploring its sound.
