Soundiron Jewel Empire II brings the distinctive tone of the Italian GEM Imperial II electronic organ into a flexible sampled instrument. Its normal and bass sustains and staccatos cover everything from held chords to punchy rhythmic parts, with wide stereo and direct-line recordings capturing different perspectives on the original hardware. Twenty evolving pads derived from those recordings extend the palette into atmospheric scoring and electronic production. Shape each part with attack, release, vibrato, transient offset and octave layering, or use glide for flowing legato and portamento leads. An adaptable LFO, 13 filter options and a customizable arpeggiator add movement, tonal variation and sequenced patterns.
