Hive 2 Expansion Pack: Synthwave

Hive 2 Expansion Pack: Synthwave brings 65 presets to u-he Hive 2, offering a palette of mellow tones, evolving textures and expressive synth sounds. Created by sound designer Adam Pietruszko, this collection pairs FM keys and wavetable pads with expansive strings, basses, mono and poly leads, plucks and percussion. Arpeggios, sequences, drones, motion sounds and effects add rhythmic movement and atmospheric detail. Use it to build hazy synthwave tracks, soften a lo-fi arrangement or sketch ambient electronica and cinematic passages. Its soothing timbres and unusual modulations also lend themselves to vaporwave and more experimental productions. Aimed at producers seeking fresh inspiration from Hive 2, this preset expansion requires the synth rather than functioning as a standalone instrument.
