Expanse 3D

Expanse 3D from United Plugins is a psychoacoustic space enhancer designed to give tracks greater width, depth and perceived size. Its spectral phase processing spreads the stereo image while keeping sub frequencies centred and bass focused, with mono-compatible widening that can also turn mono sources into stereo. Delay networks and phase processing add a sense of front-to-back space, helping separate individual parts or bring layered sounds together. For extra weight and sparkle, harmonic generation extends the impression of low and high frequencies rather than simply boosting them with EQ. Analogue-modelled saturation adds warmth and colour throughout the processing. Use it subtly on a master for added scale and energy, or explore stronger settings when mixing and designing sounds. It suits producers who want fuller, more spacious mixes without relying on stereo widening alone.
