Java Mallets

Java Mallets by Cinematique Instruments brings the resonant character of Javanese gamelan into modern music production. Its palette combines bright mallet strikes, rough bowed textures and plucked strings, giving hobby producers and composers distinctive material for film scores, atmospheric passages and pop arrangements. Explore 16 mallet articulations, five bowed articulations and four string articulations, including bowed Gender and Saron, rubbed gong, and metal- and yarn-stringed rebab. Each articulation includes an Ombak companion: a slightly detuned doubling voice with adjustable detuning and stereo width for chorus-like shimmer. Attack and decay controls, EQ, reverb and delay help shape the sound, while octaver, drive, rotary and tremolo offer further creative options. With 16 presets and approximately 4,700 samples, Java Mallets suits musicians looking for Indonesian-inspired colors that can move between rhythmic parts and layered textures.
