donutsaudio Lo-Fi Drums VST/VST3/AU WiN MAC

donutsaudio Lo-Fi Drums is a drum instrument for producers who want warm, worn-in percussion for lo-fi beats and relaxed tracks. Its selected drum samples have a retro character, with subtle saturation and imperfections that help establish a vintage feel without starting from clean, unprocessed hits.

Three built-in sound-shaping tools let you adjust that character. LO-SKY adds reverb for spacious drum parts and softer ambient textures. LO-LI handles distortion, ranging from gentle coloration to a more pronounced gritty sound. LO-VIBE introduces adjustable pitch variation, giving repeated hits extra movement and opening up less conventional tonal patterns.

The straightforward interface keeps the drum sounds accessible, making it useful for hobby producers building grooves or adding nostalgic percussion to a project. Stereo and multi-output options support different mixing approaches: keep the instrument together or route bass, kick, snare and hi-hat parts to separate tracks for individual processing.

For Windows users working in compatible hosts such as FL Studio or Ableton Live, Lo-Fi Drums offers a focused starting point for sample-based lo-fi drum production.
