Afroplugin

Afroplugin by Afroplug is a drum instrument for producers exploring African-inspired rhythms and contemporary beat styles. Its collection of 120 sounds and 10 presets offers a starting point for Afrobeats, Dancehall, Reggaeton, R&B and lo-fi productions. Whether you’re sketching a groove or building the rhythmic foundation of a track, it keeps the focus on drums and beat creation.

Low-pass and high-pass filters let you shape the tonal balance, while reverb and saturation provide options for adding space and character. ADSR controls give you further control over how the sounds respond, helping you tailor their envelopes to your arrangement. With support for Mac and Windows and compatibility across DAWs, Afroplugin suits hobby producers who want a focused drum instrument for exploring these styles within their existing setup.
