Soundiron Lamellophones brings 17 experimental instruments by inventor Bart Hopkin into a Kontakt library built for unconventional melodies, organic textures and atmospheric scoring. These custom wood-and-steel creations offer distinctive acoustic tones, multiple microphone positions and hundreds of ambient soundscapes derived from the recordings. The collection includes Tines & Echoes, Rattletines, Woodentines, Metaltines, Miago Trod, Rumba Boxes and The U, alongside the exclusive Cat’s Face and CÍque instruments. A modular four-layer interface lets you blend sounds and shape their attack, release, pitch, vibrato and filtering. Tempo-synced LFO modulation, a customizable arpeggiator and key-and-scale locking provide further ways to develop rhythmic patterns and melodic ideas.
