VovSoft Keyboard Soundboard v2.1 WiN

VovSoft Keyboard Soundboard v2.1 is a Windows utility that maps audio files to your computer keyboard for quick, key-triggered playback. It is a standalone soundboard application rather than a VST instrument or effect, making it useful for hobby producers, DJs, streamers, and anyone who wants easy access to samples or sound effects without extra hardware.

The interface shows a virtual keyboard with sound assignments for individual keys. Start with the included sounds or use Redefine Keys to build a custom layout from WAV, MP3, MP2, MP1, AIFF, OGG, and M4A files. Support for all keyboard layouts and an optional matrix display give you different ways to organize and view your triggers.

Hotkey Mode keeps those triggers available while the application runs in the background, so you can play sounds while using another program. For music-making, it offers a straightforward way to experiment with notes, sample snippets, and effects from a laptop or desktop keyboard. Version 2.1 expands key support, updates the interface, and adds installer confirmation before overwriting the keys.db file.
