HY-RPE2 by HY Plugins is an eight-track MIDI sequencer for building rhythmic patterns and driving your MIDI instruments. Choose between Grid and Euclidean sequencer engines to explore different approaches to programming, from deliberately placed notes to repeating rhythmic structures. It shapes the MIDI performance rather than generating a sound of its own, making it useful for experimenting with drum parts, percussion patterns and rhythmic synth lines. The Euclidean engine includes drag-and-drop modulation assignment, four LFO/Sample & Hold units and four macro knobs/buttons for adding movement and hands-on control. MIDI recording, MIDI Learn and MIDI Note Map tools round out the workflow, while a resizable interface keeps the controls accessible.
