Body Percussion

Wavesfactory Body Percussion is a Kontakt instrument that turns stomps, claps, snaps and other human-made hits into playable rhythm parts. Its 24 articulations range from solo performances to ensembles of up to 30 people, with a single knob controlling the group size. Use it to build intimate grooves, crowd-style accents or layered percussion tracks without recording a roomful of performers. Three microphone positions have independent mixer controls, letting you balance the perspectives and route channels to your DAW. Four velocity layers and 10 round robins provide variation, while adjustable player randomness offers further control over ensemble performances. Shape individual articulations with volume, pan, pitch and decay settings, then add effects in your preferred order. It suits producers and composers looking for expressive, organic percussion. Requires the full version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or later; the free Kontakt Player runs it in demo mode only.
