BRUTE

UJAM BRUTE is a virtual drum instrument built for guitar-heavy rock, grunge, punk and nu-metal productions. Its punchy, gritty sound draws on the drumming of the 1990s and 2000s, with enough attack and definition to hold its place against dense layers of distorted guitars. You get five genre-focused drum kits, six mix presets and 31 playing styles, each containing 23 phrases to help shape your rhythm tracks. Three distinct microphone setups capture sharp transients, rough organic character and cleaner detail. The Smack control brings out the attack, while Grit blends the dirtier and cleaner microphone characters to suit your mix. BRUTE suits home producers and songwriters who want forceful, characterful rock drums without pushing all the way into metal territory. Use it for driving riffs, raw alternative rock arrangements or crossover tracks that need an assertive rhythmic foundation.
