Wave Arts Tube Saturator 2 is a tube saturation effect for Windows that combines modeled preamp drive with a three-band analog-style EQ. It suits home producers who want to add subtle harmonic warmth or push sounds into heavier distortion without using outboard hardware.

Its circuit model accounts for tubes, resistors, and capacitors, while precomputed solutions reduce the processing load compared with Tube Saturator Vintage. The saturation section runs roughly seven times faster than its predecessor, with improved modeling accuracy.

Choose between 12AX7 and 12AU7 tube models for different harmonic responses. A Baxandall-style EQ, based on the type used in many guitar amplifiers, can sit before saturation to shape what hits the drive stage or after it to adjust the resulting tone. You can also bypass the EQ and saturation sections independently.

For more control over the result, enable 2x oversampling to reduce aliasing from distortion harmonics. The mix control blends the treated and dry signals, making it easier to retain the original sound while adding texture.
