Urban Puncher

Urban Puncher by United Plugins is a drum enhancement effect for giving loops, percussion and individual hits a firmer, more assertive sound. Its main Punch control combines dynamic processing, transient treatment and spectral shaping, letting you reshape the impact without juggling several processors. Blend the result with your original signal using Dry/Wet, then adjust the output level to suit your mix. For extra character, the Saturation control adds analogue-style colour inspired by transformer and tube saturation, ranging from subtle warmth to gritty aggression. Engage Destroy to triple the saturation amount for heavier distortion. Built with urban music production in mind, Urban Puncher suits producers who want a straightforward way to make drums feel stronger. It also invites experimentation on acoustic guitar and piano when those parts need additional bite or presence.
