Eventide SplitEQ is an eight-band parametric EQ plugin that lets you shape a sound’s attack separately from its tonal body. Its Structural Split engine separates incoming audio into transient and tonal streams, giving you targeted control over elements that conventional EQ treats together. Soften sharp drum hits, reduce vocal plosives, or tame a snare’s ringing frequencies without applying the same changes to the entire signal. Beyond corrective mixing, SplitEQ offers independent L/R and Mid-Side panning for creative stereo placement and widening. More than 150 factory presets provide starting points for drums, vocals, guitars, and other sources, while A/B comparison and Undo/Redo support easy experimentation.
