KorgStator

Sinevibes KorgStator is a tape wobble effect for KORG prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1 hardware, rather than a conventional DAW plugin. Its algorithm recreates the unstable motion of tape machines, combining motor-related wow and flutter with scrape flutter caused by tape moving against the playback head. Subtle stereo crosstalk modelling adds gentle phasing, giving synth sounds a spacious, softly shifting character. Keep the processing restrained for light chorusing and vintage colour, or push it further for pronounced lo-fi pitch movement. It suits hardware synth players and producers who want to add wavering texture to pads, melodies and other synth parts. Designed specifically for KORG’s platform, KorgStator includes carefully mapped controls and built-in lag filtering for smooth, noise-free parameter changes. It is part of the Sinevibes KorgFX Collection.
