Ancient World: Instruments of Antiquity

Ancient World: Instruments of Antiquity by Big Fish Audio brings the character of ancient strings, winds and percussion into your productions. Built around Nikolaos Brass’ collection of reconstructed Greek instruments, this Kontakt instrument library also explores sounds from the Mediterranean, Middle East and Medieval traditions. Its 32 multi-sampled instruments span delicate plucked textures, expressive wind tones and distinctive percussion, making it a natural fit for historical soundtracks, atmospheric game scores and cinematic arrangements. String articulations include tremolo, harmonics, slides and glissandos, offering varied ways to shape a performance. Nearly 4 GB of content includes 146 patches and over 400 looped, tempo-syncing performances for building ideas quickly. Supplied with Kontakt 5 Player and supporting NKS, Ancient World suits composers and producers looking for unusual acoustic colors beyond standard orchestral instruments.
