XO Expansion: Ultra Bionic

XO Expansion: Ultra Bionic brings Peder Mannerfelt’s experimental electronic sound palette into XLN Audio XO. Built from his collection of modular synths, vintage machines and effects pedals, this beat and sample expansion includes 118 editable presets and 169 one-shot samples. Expect crackling percussion, sharp digital clicks, weighty bass sounds and unconventional kicks shaped from recordings such as a car door. Sounds from his EMS SYNTHI and Korg PS 3200 add distinctive character to the collection. Designed for techno, electro, IDM and harder rave productions, Ultra Bionic suits beatmakers who want rough-edged textures and unusual rhythmic ingredients rather than familiar drum-machine staples. Use the curated beats as starting points, edit them in XO, and combine the included sounds with your own samples and grooves.
