XO Expansion: Pastel Punch

XO Expansion: Pastel Punch brings Rachel K Collier’s distinctive approach to electronic drums into XLN Audio’s XO. This editable beat and sample expansion includes 39 presets and 155 one-shot samples, pairing weighty kicks and snares with quirky accents, vocal samples, and gritty organic percussion. Its house-rooted grooves offer a lively foundation for pop-leaning club tracks, whether you need a quick songwriting spark or a drum arrangement to reshape around your own ideas. Start with a ready-made beat, then use XO’s built-in sequencer and sample-swapping workflow to change its direction, replacing individual sounds and adjusting the groove to suit your production. Pastel Punch suits producers who enjoy bold drum sounds, playful textures, and a balance of electronic precision and rough-edged character. It’s an expansion for XO rather than a standalone instrument.
