SSL Native Channel Strip 2 brings Solid State Logic’s 9000K console processing into a flexible mixing plugin. Shape vocals, drums, bass and other sources with a four-band EQ offering switchable E-Series and G-Series characteristics, plus high-pass and low-pass filters for cleaning up unwanted frequencies. SSL’s Anti-Cramping technology supports the EQ design, while adjustable processor order lets you tailor the signal path to each track. The compressor helps tame peaks or add firmer control with soft- and hard-knee options, and the separate gate/expander tidies quieter passages with a smooth release. External sidechain input and EQ or filter routing to the dynamics sidechain enable frequency-sensitive control. Suited to home producers who want console-style tone and practical mixing tools in one place, it also integrates with SSL 360 for control from UC1 and UF8 hardware.
