SSL Native X-Phase

SSL Native X-Phase by Solid State Logic is a phase alignment plugin for tackling timing and phase issues in multi-mic recordings. Its all-pass filter shifts phase around a chosen frequency without changing the signal’s frequency-level balance. Use it to address cancellation between drum overheads and close microphones, or blend a processed signal with the original for creative comb-filter effects. Frequency and Q controls let you target the correction and shape its slope, while a phase invert button provides a 180-degree flip. A separate delay section handles broader time alignment, with adjustments displayed in seconds, milliseconds, samples, metres or feet. Left and right channels can be adjusted together or independently. X-Phase suits home producers and recording engineers who want hands-on control over how related tracks combine, rather than reaching for EQ to solve a phase problem.
