Klevgrand Rum is a room simulator plugin that gives dry recordings the depth and perspective of a stereo microphone setup across the room. Its ten sampled spaces range from controlled studio booths to everyday home interiors, making it useful for adding intimate, believable ambience to acoustic instruments and other close-recorded sources. Each room offers six variants, with microphone settings and room characters that can be combined to shape the result. Tempo-synced pre-delay helps establish a sense of distance, while low-cut and high-cut filters keep the ambience focused. A built-in ducker controls transients in the wet signal, and three stereo spread algorithms plus modulation let you adjust width and movement. With factory presets to get you started, Rum suits producers who want natural room character with flexible controls for fitting it into a mix.
