Nørdic Cello

Nørdic Cello by Have Audio is a deeply sampled Kontakt instrument that moves from expressive acoustic cello to experimental cinematic textures. Performed by Parisian cellist Jean-Philippe Feiss, it includes true legato, sustained notes, varied pizzicatos, staccatos, tremolo and extended playing techniques. It suits composers building intimate scores, producers adding organic detail to electronic tracks, and musicians exploring unconventional string sounds. The Nørdic Engine lets you reshape performances with real-time Time Warp stretching, Reverse FX, an arpeggiator and ICE blend effects. Import your own samples and loops through drag and drop, then sculpt them with ADSR controls, convolution reverbs, delay and additional processing such as saturation, chorus and compression. Four assignable FX macros provide hands-on control. Requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 6.5.2; the free Kontakt Player is not supported.
