Aevium

Soundiron Aevium is a sample-based synthesizer instrument that turns bird calls into bold leads, expansive pads and unsettling drones. Created in collaboration with BOOM Library, it reshapes recordings from Birds Of Prey into over 1,800 samples across 11GB of sound-designed content. Rather than focusing on realistic wildlife playback, Aevium explores distorted, stretched and modulated textures for electronic tracks, cinematic scoring and experimental sound design. Its Oroboros engine provides four independent layers, each with attack, release, sample offset, pitch and pan controls. Shape each layer with 39 filter types and modulation from LFO, ADSR or velocity sources, then blend them using the assignable XY pad. An arpeggiator and categorized preset browser help you move from browsing to building a part. It suits producers and composers seeking punchy synth tones, evolving atmospheres and unusual organic starting points.
