Borsta

Klevgrand Borsta is a brushed percussion instrument for creating expressive grooves with realistic movement and texture. Its engine follows continuous changes in intensity, letting you shape the pressure and speed of each stroke rather than rely on fixed sample hits. Parallel envelope and event sequencers give you detailed control over brushing patterns, while multi-sampled one-shots add accents with advanced choking. Choose from 18 instruments, including snares, cajon, tambourine, frame drum and unconventional surfaces such as a pizza box or rusty bucket. With 230 factory sequences and 60 global presets, Borsta offers plenty of starting points for laid-back beats, acoustic arrangements and characterful percussion layers. Consistent MIDI mapping lets you audition the same rhythm across different instruments. Room simulation, reverb, pitch, timbre controls and a three-band EQ help fit the sound into your mix. It suits producers who want nuanced percussion without programming every detail from scratch.
