Odyssey

Odyssey by AIR Music Technology brings the character of the ARP Odyssey to a software synth developed by emulation specialists WayOutWare. Circuit-modelled oscillators and filters recreate the original instrument’s sonic personality, while mono, duophonic and four-voice polyphonic modes offer flexibility for leads, pads and layered chord parts. Build sounds with dual oscillators, an LFO, sample and hold, ring modulation, and high-pass and low-pass filters. A modelled 1970s movable-head tape delay adds another dimension to your patches. Start with 150 factory presets covering synth leads, ambient textures and percussion, then tweak and automate parameters to make them your own. Velocity, channel pressure and expression pedal modulation support expressive playing. It’s a strong fit for producers who enjoy hands-on synthesis, vintage-inspired electronic sounds and a preset library that leaves plenty of room for experimentation.
