Mellotron

AIR Music Technology Mellotron brings the character of the classic tape-based keyboard to modern music production. Its six tape sets include the familiar flute, choir and strings sounds, with Dirty and Cleaned versions offering different levels of vintage texture. Shape each patch with Formant, Age and Sample Start controls, or explore 30 factory presets for a quick starting point. Built-in compression, four-band EQ, spring reverb and delay help place the instrument in your mix. For more weathered tones, the Flavour section combines radio, phone and tape-machine EQ simulations with distortion, noise and tape flutter. From classic rock keyboard parts to hazy lo-fi melodies and atmospheric layers, Mellotron suits producers who want nostalgic sampled sounds with hands-on control over their character.
