Solina

AIR Music Technology Solina brings classic string-machine character to your productions with six blendable timbres: Contrabass, Cello, Viola, Violin, Trumpet and Horn. Independent volume, pan and pitch controls let you shape layered keyboard textures, from soft backing parts to broad, dramatic ensembles. Its combination of sampling and modelling recreates vintage tones while offering plenty of room for sound design.

Start with 75 presets, then tailor your patch using built-in processing including chorus, delay, spring reverb, compression and four-band EQ. The Flavour section adds a different personality, with radio, phone and tape-style tonal treatments alongside distortion, noise and tape flutter for worn-in, lo-fi textures. Solina suits producers and keyboard players looking for retro-inspired strings, atmospheric layers or characterful ensemble sounds without building a complex effects chain.
