ML8000 Advanced Limiter Native v7

McDSP ML8000 Advanced Limiter Native v7 combines eight-band limiting with a dedicated master limiter to shape peaks and control final output levels. The multiband stage lets you adjust gain and ceiling independently across the spectrum, making it useful for taming uneven frequency peaks before they reach the master stage. Knee, Mode and Focus controls offer different limiting responses, from subtle articulation adjustments to firmer peak control. The master section builds on McDSP’s ML4000 algorithm, with filter refinements designed to reduce peak distortion. Linked bands, solo monitoring, real-time analyzers and a Snap function that matches band thresholds to incoming levels help streamline setup. Suited to home producers and experienced mix engineers, ML8000 provides detailed dynamics control for mixing and mastering when a single broadband limiter feels too restrictive. This is the Native edition, rather than the AAX DSP version.
