Rob Papen RP-Distort 2 is a creative distortion effect for producers who want anything from lo-fi grit to heavily reshaped textures. Its 52 distortion types cover amp and cabinet models, audio modulation, and Dual Wave Shapers for designing your own distortion curves. Use it to roughen drum loops, add bite to bass, or push synth parts into more experimental territory. Pre- and post-distortion EQ plus a gate help shape the result, while an analog-modeled filter, compressor, and widener/chorus provide further tonal and dynamic control. Rearrange the four main modules to explore different processing chains. For evolving sounds, the Disrupt Sphere controls multiple parameters together, supported by an Audio Follower with side-input, modulation LFOs, and an extended modulation matrix.
