Pathfinder Cello

Turn held chords into moving cello lines with Pathfinder Cello by Ben Osterhouse. This rhythmic legato instrument builds expressive phrases and ostinatos from the notes you supply, using graphical “paths” to shape their movement. It suits producers and composers who want evolving string parts for cinematic cues, atmospheric tracks or rhythm-driven arrangements without programming every note individually. Its 9,082 samples capture short, two-to-four-second microphrases, which sync to your DAW’s tempo through Kontakt’s TMpro engine. A Tempo Sync multiplier gives you extra control over how those recordings stretch to fit your project. Start with one of 108 presets, then reshape it through the drag-and-drop interface to develop your own patterns. The library occupies 2.4 GB compressed and runs in the free Kontakt Player, with activation handled through Native Access.
