Synthetic Materials is a Kontakt instrument built for producers who want to shape evolving, atmospheric textures from classic analog and wavetable synth sources. It packs 60 sampled instruments in 24-bit super-wide stereo, plus a scale-quantised semi-generative sequencer that turns simple notes into moving patterns. You can import your own samples via drag-and-drop, tweak loop points, and save custom snapshots to share. The GUI puts filters, drive, EQ, delay, chorus, reverb, and compression on one screen, alongside creative tools like velocity-threshold legato glide, vibrato, and a pitch shifter that adds up to two extra notes per key for octaves or chords. There’s also the DM 78 percussion instrument with 200 analog drum samples and 100 ready-made beats. With 100 snapshots, 25 sequencer demos, and 50 Multis to explore, it suits hobby producers making ambient, cinematic, or electronic music who want deep sound design without a steep learning curve.
