Twine Bass from Soundiron is a uniquely textured bass library for Kontakt, built from a hemp-twine-strung cello and a traditional Kenyan bolon. The result is a deeply sonorous, woody low end with rich warmth and powerful resonance, ideal for cinematic, ambient, and experimental productions. Beyond the deeply sampled strings—with 10x round-robin and up to 14 velocity layers—you get legato slides, mutes, tuning peg noises, finger taps, and body percussion. The standout feature is the Glissando/Chord Generator, offering deep control over speed, range, scale, stroke direction, and humanization, plus 26 chords and 13 scales.
