Stealth Wind

Stealth Wind is a cinematic shakuhachi flute instrument for the full version of Kontakt, designed to add an ethnic, stealthy character to game and film scores. Recorded by shakuhachi players Jon Johnston and Jonathan McCollum, it captures the evocative James Horner-style vibe through 17 patches that include expressive phrases, multisampled staccatos and sustains, plus low Elephant Calls and Enigma Calls for extra cinematic depth. A bonus multisampled Taiko drum patch helps tie your cues together. While the main focus is on sneaking ninja atmospheres, lighter traditional ethnic motifs are also included, making it versatile for tension-building or cultural colour. This library is not about extensive legato articulations but serves as a distinctive accent for composers and producers seeking authentic shakuhachi textures in their music.
