IHNY-2 Upgrade from IHNY-1

IHNY-2 Upgrade from IHNY-1 is Baby Audio’s parallel compressor designed to make your tracks hit harder without sacrificing dynamics. It splits incoming audio into dry and wet paths, letting you blend a heavily compressed duplicate with the original using a single XY pad. The horizontal axis sets compression amount while the vertical axis balances dry/wet, and an autogain algorithm keeps output consistent as you move the node. This makes it easy to add aggression and punch to drums, mix buses, or even the master bus. The sound is modern and ultra-aggressive—not subtle, but a dedicated tool for energy and slap. It suits hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want a fast, obstacle-free parallel compression workflow without extra routing. As an upgrade for owners of the original I Heart NY, it offers surgical control and new features for contemporary mixes that need impact.
