FLUX BitterSweet v3 is a free transient designer for producers who want to adjust the attack of drums, percussion and other rhythmic material without a complicated setup. Its main control moves between Sweet, which softens transients, and Bitter, which emphasizes them. Use it to tame sharp hits or give percussive parts a more pronounced attack in a mix.

Fast, Medium and Slow integration modes let you vary the processing response, while the Period control adjusts the detection window. Output gain offers ±12 dB of adjustment, and an optional link compensates the output level as you change the transient amount, helping you compare settings at a more consistent volume.

For stereo work, Main mode processes the regular signal, Center targets the mid channel, and Stereo targets the side channel through internal mid/side encoding and decoding. This lets you focus on centered kick and snare content or rhythmic elements in the sides. Main mode also supports multichannel processing with up to eight input and output channels. True bypass and Open Sound Control support round out the controls. No dongle or license activation is required.
