GX-80 Synthesizer

Cherry Audio’s GX-80 is a virtual synthesizer that recreates the legendary GX-1 and CS-80, blending both into a hybrid instrument. Using circuit-modeled DSP by Mark Barton, it delivers authentic analog tones with dual synth layers, extra waveforms, and variable resonators. The GX-80 reintroduces the GX-1’s unique filter for rich, expressive timbres beyond the CS-80. It includes split keyboard mode and polyphonic aftertouch simulation for dynamic performance. Ideal for producers and composers seeking classic warm pads, leads, and cinematic textures, this plugin suits hobbyists and professionals alike. With its intuitive dual-layer interface and studio-quality effects, GX-80 offers a gateway to iconic sounds without the rarity and cost of vintage hardware. Perfect for electronic music, film scoring, and sound design, it brings the dream machine to your DAW.
